History

The National Organization of Black women in Law Enforcement, Inc. (NOBWLE) is devoted to furthering the hiring and retention of women in the law enforcement field.

Elected members hold offices for up to two terms and can be elected to serve on the National Executive Board  or in the local chapter

Special Agent Gladys Jones along with several other women of color came together and voiced their concerns and formed the organization now known as NOBWLE in 1984.
